St. Therese School - Dress Code

St. Therese School has a dress code which requires cooperation from parents. Good grooming is learned at home. Gentle reminders aid children in learning good health habits. We ask all parents to see that their child is properly dressed according to the school dress code. Regular uniforms - October 1st - May 1st. Summer uniforms - September, May and June.
Grades K-5 Boys: Navy Navy blue uniform pants - Flynn & O'Hara only. Yellow knit shirts with emblem Green uniform cardigan sweater with emblem Standard shoes; as below Girls:* Green plaid uniform jumper Yellow uniform blouse with peter-pan collar Dark green knee socks/tights White ankle socks may be worn in September, May and June. Green uniform cardigan with emblem *Standard shoes; of navy blue, brown, black, dark green or maroon, no sneakers, no boots.	Grades 6-8 Boys: Navy blue uniform pants. White button-down uniform shirt. Navy blue uniform pull-over V-neck sweater with emblem Standard shoes Girls:* Green plaid kilt uniform skirt White button-down oxford uniform blouse Navy blue knee socks/tights White ankle socks may be worn in September, May and June. Summer Uniform K-5 Navy blue shorts - Flynn & O'Hara only Yellow knit shirt or school blouse White socks Sneakers may be worn 6-8 Grades Navy blue shorts - Flynn & O'Hara only. White knit shirt with emblem/or oxford shirt/blouse White socks Sneakers may be worn.	Gym Uniforms: All boys and girls in grades K through 8 will wear navy blue gym shorts/sweat pants and gray tee shirts/navy sweat shirt with school emblem. On the day that a student has gym, sneakers may be worn to school. Scout uniforms, if worn, must be the full uniform
A NOTE FROM A PARENT MUST ACCOMPANY A CHILD OUT OF UNIFORM.
St. Therese does not allow: Large, flashy jewelry on girls No earrings on boys No make-up No bleached hair (boys or girls)	Failure to comply with all aspects of dress code may lead to serious disciplinary action.
DRESS DOWN: On occasion, we have a dressdown day. St. Therese does not allow the following on dress down day: Hats Tank Tops Short shorts on boys or girls from grade 3-8 Tee shirts with inappropriate, suggestive, vulgar or violent language
HALLOWEEN In keeping with our philosophy of respect and non-violence, we do not allow: Costumes with weapons Costumes that suggest sexual or violent overtones
