Thank you to all who came to see the class on the feast of Saint Therese and the Feast of Saint Francis.  I was extremely proud of the children.

Each student has chosen a saint to portray on the Feast of All Saints on Nov. 1.  Research is due in class on Tuesday, Oct. 16.  The children can find their information from a reputable website or from a book.  The students will be writing a short biography in class.  Presentation of the saints is scheduled for after the 8:30 Mass and again at 2 pm.  Students will come to mass dressed as their saint.

The Explorer project has begun.  Students need to have a book in class on Tuesday.  They will learn how to write an outline in class. Directions for the triptex (display board) will be given out shortly. The Explorer Fair is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 5 at 1:15. Students will do an oral presentation, in costume, in the gym.

I hope you have been hearing about our Math Stars and Social Studies Scholars.  The class is doing very well.  Every day has been enjoyable and full of learning!
